Peoria, Illinois Accident Kills Cyclist

A collision that occurred between a motorcycle and an SUV in Peoria, Illinois left the motorcycle driver dead.  The victim, a 63-year-old central Illinois resident, was hit head on by an SUV that crossed over into oncoming traffic.  According to officials, the accident took place Sunday at 3:30 p.m. near War Memorial Drive and Grand Boulevard.  Although the cyclist was wearing a helmet, he passed away following the crash.  Prayers go out his family and friends.
