Lyons, Illinois Crash Kills 2 and Injures 3

The collision occurred on southbound Illinois Route 171 near 47th street.  A wrong-way driver was traveling against traffic in a Buick Park Avenue when he struck a Honda CRV that was carrying a family of four.  According to police, two individuals were ejected from the vehicle while two were pinned inside and the driver of the Buick was pinned inside his vehicle as well.

Of the individuals involved, Damien Colzada, 7, and Herrington Jameson, 43, were pronounced dead Sunday.  Prayers go out to the loved ones of the deceased.
