According to the Coles County Sheriff’s Department, Wilbur Otto, 23, was driving under the influence Sunday morning on Illinois Route 130. The car crash left all five of the van’s passengers injured. Otto told investigators that his van’s left front tire blew out which caused him to lose control. His vehicle then ran into a ditch and rolled various times. Police report that Otto admitted to drinking alcohol prior to the accident.
