Unfortunate Missouri School Bus Accident

A horrific school bus accident that took place Thursday morning on I-44 and Highway 100 near Gray Summit, Missouri claimed the life of two individuals while 50 sustained injuries.  The accident involved a semi-tractor, a pickup truck, and two school buses that were loaded with St. James School District high school students on a summer field trip to Six Flags.  According to Police, the pickup truck hit the back of the tractor, which caused the first school bus to hit the GMC pickup truck from behind.  Next, the second bus rear-ended the first bus in this terrible chain of events. State troopers relayed that a high school female on the first school bus was killed and the driver of the pickup truck was killed as well.  Similarly, up to 50 people were reported as injured and were rushed to local hospitals. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of those involved in this tragic accident.
