Train Hits Van Leaving Family in Critical Condition

According to authorities, in accident that happened at around 7:00 p.m. last Friday evening at the railroad crossing at DuBois and Main Streets in Elsberry, Missouri.  A 45 year old man, his 43 year old wife and their 16 and 10 year old children were all injured in a collision when a train struck their family van. Authorities believe that the family was returning home to O’Fallon, Missouri when the collision occurred. All four individuals involved were listed in critical condition.  The exact cause of the accident is currently under investigation, however, prayers go out to all parties involved in this horrific and tragic crash.
