According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, in an accident that occurred Tuesday at noon on Highway P in Ripley County, Missouri, a 37-year-old female was killed. Supposedly, the car she was driving in burst into flames and claimed her life. Investigators say that the victim may have lost control of her 1998 Chevrolet because the car struck a tree and caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and her 24-year-old passenger was flown to local hospital where he is in serious condition.
