Missouri Teen Dies After Being Ejected from Truck

A teenager from Franklin County was killed Tuesday night after he was ejected from the bed of a pickup truck.  The accident took place near New Haven when the 17-year-old pickup truck driver rounded a curve causing the pickup truck bed passenger to be thrown from the car.  According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the driver was headed north on Vedder Road near Route Y when she rounded the curve, ejecting the 19-year-old male passenger.  The thrown teen was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident at around midnight on Tuesday.  Prayers go out to all of those involved in this tragic loss.

The cause of this accident was most likely speed as traveling at high speeds around turns can likely cause passengers to be thrown from vehicles.  If you or a loved one has been injured or killed in a motor vehicle accident that was caused by the fault of another, you may be entitled to compensation.  It is important that you call a pick-up truck accident lawyer today to discuss your potential case.  Contact an injury attorney at 314.409.7060.
