David Barker, 57, of St. Charles, was killed Sunday when his motorcycle collided with the back of a turning car. The accident took place between Illinois Route 25 and May Lane in Kane County. Police report that Barker was driving north when he hit the end of a Chevy Cobalt that was stopped in order to make a left turn. Barker was then thrown off his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the driver of the Chevy was not injured. Prayers go out, however, to the entire Barker family as they mourn their loss.
