Car Accident Wrongful Death Claims
Following a deadly crash, the families of the deceased will face unimaginable choices in the midst of extreme grief. The last thing anyone wants to consider is a pursing a wrongful death claim. While understandable, a wrongful death claim will help reimburse family members for burial and medical expenses, lost wages of the deceased, and other accident related damages.
The ability to bring a wrongful death claim often hinges on evidence gathered immediately following the crash. The failure to gather evidence in a timely manner, especially in tractor-trailor crashes with onboard digital recording devices that should be downloaded immediately, can make a future wrongful death claim extremely difficult. Wrongful death lawyers will be able to gather evidence and fight the insurance companies while the family grieves.
